Get FEMA certifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Working within a first responder environment requires you to know, understand and follow certain rules. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The National Incident Management System (NIMS)<\/strong> is a standardized framework developed by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to guide all levels of government, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector in managing emergencies and incidents. NIMS provides a unified approach to incident management by standardizing command structures, resource management, and communication protocols. You can take the courses online and there’s no charge. We require certificates for ICS-100 and ICS-200.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How To Prepare<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Training In Your Area<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A CFR needs to be able to handle a number of medical emergencies like cardiac arrests, choking or bleeding. The proper way to handle these situations require “hands-on” training. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We accept BLS\/AED certificate issued by the American Heart Association or the Red Cross. We also require a “Stop The Bleed” certificate which is offered by a number of instructors in almost any region. Please understand that your CFR certification will be tied to the expiration date of your CPR\/AED and “Stop The Bleed” credentials. Contact us if you need assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
