About Us<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About CFR Institute<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The CFR Institute<\/strong> is a community-driven initiative created and operated by Pecos Valley Public Services<\/strong>, a licensed Community EMS agency in the State of New Mexico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With years of experience providing first aid<\/strong>, basic life support (BLS)<\/strong>, and disaster relief<\/strong> across our region, we\u2019ve seen firsthand how critical early response is in medical emergencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CFR Institute was founded with one mission:
To train and empower more people to step up and save lives.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

By equipping volunteers, neighbors, and everyday citizens with essential skills, we’re building a stronger, safer, and more prepared community \u2014 one responder at a time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Why We Train the Public<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First Aid Makes A difference<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As an EMS agency, we know one thing for sure: lives are saved long before the ambulance arrives<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s why we started our first aid training site \u2014 to empower everyday people<\/strong> with the skills to act in those critical first minutes of a medical emergency. Whether it’s CPR, bleeding control, or recognizing a stroke, trained bystanders can make the difference between life and death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our goal isn\u2019t just to respond \u2014 it\u2019s to build a community of responders<\/strong>. Because when more people know what to do, more lives are saved<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
